“My journey as a BCA student (2023–2026) has been truly memorable and transformative. Throughout these three years, I received constant support from my faculty members, placement coordinators, and seniors, who always encouraged me to explore beyond academics. They introduced me to the latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence, guided me towards hackathons, and helped me understand how the corporate world works and how to crack interviews. Their guidance enabled me to secure my first internship during my second year itself.

Being a part of Geek Room was one of the biggest highlights of my college life. From organizing our flagship 36-hour hackathons to later serving as the President of the club, I learned leadership, teamwork, event management, and the confidence to take ownership of responsibilities. I was also fortunate to have an amazing group of classmates who constantly motivated me to learn and improve every single day.

After graduating, I was placed at ACT21 Software Pvt. Ltd. as a Project Management Office (PMO) Executive. Stepping into the corporate world was challenging, especially while working alongside experienced professionals and adapting to a completely new environment. It was not an easy journey, but in the end, I carved my own path and proved to myself that I could do it in my own way. The values, confidence, and practical exposure I gained during college helped me settle quickly and grow into my role. Today, I contribute to project governance, stakeholder coordination, planning, and execution while continuing to learn and grow with every new challenge.

There were moments I encountered that changed entire trajectory of my life but one thing which I got from here is constant support and guidance. As my journey began at JIMS it was exciting and fun. Everything is well synced, classes and all other co-curricular activities are planned to bring out best in you. All the faculties put their best to make your future ready and grab the opportunity that come forth with confidence. Best part is the balanced life you get from the college which gives you ample opportunity to excel in different field of your interest whether it be academics or co-curriculars like sports and cultural interests. So far, it was really a great experience for me to be a part of JIMS. I would like to thank and appreciate the constant efforts of my faculty members and mentors who actually provided me with the path and guidance to keep exploring new things and to always upgrade myself. They make sure that every class is fun, interactive, and knowledgeable for us. Also, the Coordinators and the placement team helped us a lot to develop both interpersonal and professional skills by providing us with all possible resources and sessions. When it comes to opportunities and experiences, there's a very famous quote that “Big journeys always begin with small steps” and at JIMS we never run short of opportunities. In the last two years, I have experienced the corporate environment in our college itself, where we got the opportunities to work on live projects, research papers, internships, corporate sessions, and workshops, etc. Other than this, we were also provided with a lot of culture, sports activities and fests throughout the year which always gives us a new and better way to explore our talent. Days spent here will always be memorable for me the experience that I gained from here will help me throughout my life.
