I am Dipanshu Goyal, I completed my BA (Hons.) Economics from Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, Sector-5, under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). I was part of the 2021–24 batch, with Roll No. 01814021621, and graduated with a GPA of 8.37.
My experience at JIMS was not limited to academics; it also provided me with opportunities that helped me take my first steps towards a professional career. Through the college’s Placement Cell, I got the opportunity to apply for an internship at Data Bridge Market Research, Gurugram. After completing the application process and being shortlisted for an interview based on my resume, I was selected for my first corporate experience as a Content Editor Intern.
I particularly appreciate the efforts made by the Placement Cell in facilitating this opportunity and providing the necessary NOC for attendance, which enabled us to balance our academic commitments with professional exposure. The joining process was smooth, and the overall work environment was a great learning experience. I was fortunate to work under Ms. Aditi Negi, one of the finest managers I have worked with, who helped us settle into the team, understand our responsibilities, explore different kinds of work, and interact with and learn from different teams.
Looking back, my time at JIMS was a memorable and enriching experience. The combination of academics, opportunities, supportive faculty and placement initiatives, and exposure to the corporate world helped me develop both personally and professionally. I am grateful to JIMS for providing me with an environment where I could learn, explore, and take my first steps towards building my career.
