Jagan Institute of Management Studies, an institute of excellence in the field of management studies and technical education, organized Inter-College Business Quiz Contest 2014 at its campus in Sector 5, Rohini, New Delhi.
JIMS has always been an institute known for its total commitment, to superiority in education and research with a holistic approach for quality of life, environment, society and ethics. The Business Quiz Contest 2014 has been organized by the institute to give a platform to the students for analyzing their knowledge and to know their potential.
 
Speaking on the occasion Dr. J.K. Goyal, Director, JIMS said, “JIMS takes pride in organizing the Inter-College Business Quiz Contest 2014. As a student of management, all the students should know about their subjects like business, finance, human resource etc. This quiz was a platform for our students to know their potential and analyze their knowledge. To boost up the confidence of the winning team and participants we have also rewarded the teams accordingly. It is not the first time when JIMS is organizing an event for broadening the views of the students. We assure you that we will come up with events like this in the future as well.”
 
The quiz master Mr. Gautam Bose, CEO, Greycells (the best known event and Quiz Company in India) conducted Inter College Business Quiz Contest 2014 at the campus. More than 100 teams from reputed institutes like FMS, Delhi University, BIMTECH, LBS, SRCC and IMT, Netaji Subhash Institute of Management etc. participated in this business quiz. Dr. J.K. Goyal, Director, JIMS; Dr. Sumesh Raizada, Dean, Management, JIMS; along with other faculty and staff members were present in this event.
 
The winners of the contest were –
- First Position - Mr. Apratim Chandra Singh and Mr. Mukund Marodia, St. Stephens College, Delhi University
- Second Position – Mr. Shashank Singh and Mr. Sarthak Khuntia, Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology
- Third Position – Prashant Mishra and Mr. Dheeraj Tripathi, IMT Ghaziabad
In the closing note; Mr. Bose added “Thanks to the entire team at JIMS Rohini, Sector 5. Loved hosting the Business Quiz today at JIMS. Good to see a large turn out. Special thanks to Dr. J.K. Goyal & Ms. Deepika Saxena. Hope to interact more with the students of JIMS in the future.”
