Online Panel Discussion by Alumni on 'Career Aspirations’ for BCA first year students was arranged on 2nd Jan,2021 from 10:00 AM to 11.30 AM. The eminent panellists for the discussion were Mr. Neeraj Swarup, Project Manager,(Digital Logistics, BirlaSoft), Mr. Japneet Singh Chawla ,Sr.MTS(Lambda Test) and Ms. Asmita Grover, Product Manager (Bajaj Capital). Dr Manjot Kaur Bhatia was moderating the session.
Discussion started with welcome address by Dr Praveen Arora. Dean (IPU Affiliated Program) followed by panel. Mr Neeraj explained the various domains of IT industry and showed road map to fresh BCA students. Mr Japneet shared his experience of self-learning and his views on data science domain. He also shared the use of Linked in profile and GITHUB repository. Ms.Asmita discussed about the functional domain of the IT industry. They also discussed about different options for students those are not interested in coding. Students participated enthusiastically and clarified their doubts regarding career choice. Session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr C Komalavalli.
