Considering these inspiring words, trying to celebrate the essence of a true entrepreneur, inculcate the importance of planning and encourage a competitive attitude among the students from various universities and colleges across the country; Bizintruders,The International Business Club of JIMS, Rohini, organised Pratispardha; a PAN India Business  Plan Competition on December 29, 2020.

The event was presided over by Dr. Yukti Ahuja, Dean PGDM-International Business Department and Mr.Himanshu Goel, Faculty in charge of the club.
The event began with an inaugural ceremony and a cordial welcome address along with a few words of encouragement from, Dr. Pooja Jain, Director JIMS Rohini.
Upon this, the panel of judges were introduced and greeted with a feeling of gratitude and humility for their humbling presence.
The Panel of judges for the competition consisted of the following dignitaries:

?Mr. Puneet Oberoi: Currently coaching CFPs across India and is also subject faculty at JIMS. He is the Founder & Director for three organisations :

?Sampann finman services pvt ltd
?Merry Bells LLP


?Dr. Sumesh Raizada: Currently a Professor of Marketing at the Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini, Delhi. With an academic experience of over 10 years in teaching & research, he has also presented and published over 30 research papers in conferences and journals, edited 2 books and has contributed nearly 100 newspaper articles. He has conducted training workshops on topics such as Ethics in Business, Professionalism at workplace, Marketing effectively to Businesses, etc.

?Mr. Gaurav Vashisht: Currently associated with many budding start-ups as a mentor and managing a startup by the name of Green Décor, which has been recognized as a viable business venture by the DPIIT, Govt. of India.
?Recognized as a successful young entrepreneur by Times India News
?Conferred upon the very formidable national award referred to as Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award

?Mr. Pankaj Nagpal: Currently working as a Head of planning and buying for Mindshare North and East, managing integrated solutions for clients like Apollo Tyres, PepsiCo, Berger, Volvo, KFC and yum to name a few.


Following the inaugural ceremony, the session was divided into two tracks for the smooth conduct of the activity; with Mr. Puneet Oberio and Dr. Sumesh Raizada as the
 
judges for track 1; whereas Mr. Gaurav Vashisht and Mr. Pankaj Nagpal as the judges of track 2.
Rules for the competition were as follows :

?All the teams were required to present their business plan idea through a PowerPoint presentation within the duration of 8 minutes.
?The presentation was then followed by a round of questions asked by the judges from the respective teams.
We were really elated to have witnessed such creative and unique business plan presentations. Students portrayed a true spirit of entrepreneurship with their very detailed and calculative business plans and strategies.
We received an overwhelming participation of 28 Teams from various colleges across the country and all the teams performed astoundingly well.
The event was brought to a close with a few concluding remarks and the words of guidance as the final feedback from the panel of judges. Later on, Himanshu Sir declared the final result as:
Team G1 (Great Lakes Institute of Management) for FIRST PRIZE, Team B1 (Jagan Institute of Management Studies) for SECOND PRIZE,
and, Teams D2 (Jagan Institute of Management Studies) and D1 (Lloyd Institute of
Management and Technology) for THIRD PRIZE.

Eventually, a vote of thanks was conveyed by Dr. Yukti Ahuja to conclude the event.

It was exhilarating how the event turned out to be such a great success, owing to the immense participation of enthusiastic students, supervision, support and guidance of all our Coordinators in charge and the unfathomable efforts of the club members.
