ICICCT-2020


International Conference on Information, Communication and Computing Technology(ICICCT-2020) was technically sponsored by Springer CCIS (Communications in Computer and Information Science) and Computer Society of India (CSI) was organized by Department of IT of JIMS Rohini Via Google Meet on May 09, 2020, New Delhi, India.


We organized the conference in order to provide an International forum for students and professionals from academia, industries and other research institutions to discuss their technical problems and share their achievements in order to improve future concerns in Computer Science.


ICICCT-2020 had Two conference tracks:


  1. Track-01: Data Communication & Networking

  2. Track-02: Advanced Computing Using Machine Learning


On the broad scale, we have received total 220 submissions across the globe, out of which only

26 papers are selected for the final publication in Springer CCIS Volume No-1170.


We had reviewer panel from across the globe: Papers were reviewed by 45 International Reviewers and 102 national reviewers and approximately 90% of the National reviewers belong to various NIT’s and other reputed government aided institutes. We received a large number of papers from different countries and Institutions like IIT Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), University of Delhi (DU) , National Institute of Technology (NIT’s), and  many more.


ICICCT 2020 was leaded by a panel of 05 eminent academic personalities from reputed institutes across the globe :


  1. General Chair : Dr. Anupam Basu, Director, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, Wes Bengal, India.


  1. Program Chair : Dr. Panos Liatsis, Professor and the Interim Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi ,UAE.


  1. Keynote Speaker : Prof. Costin Badica, Professor, Department of Computer & Information Technology, University of Craiova, Romania.


  1. Session Chair : Track-01 : Dr. Santosh Biswas, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, India.

  2. Session Chair : Track-02 : Dr. Sunil Kumar Kopparappu, Senior Scientist (R& D), TCS Innovation Lab, Mumbai, India

International author list comprises of authors from Russia, USA, Colombia,Nigeria, Germany, Bangladesh, Canada, Iraq, Australia & Romania.




The session started with the Welcome address by Dr. Praveen Arora (Dean, IPU affiliated Programs, JIMS) followed by motivating speech of Dr. Pooja Jain (Director, JIMS). She spoke about the latest endeavours of JIMS in the field of research and emphasized on the fact that the research should aim at providing solution  to the existing problems. The next interaction was held by Dr. Panos Liatsis, Professor and the Interim Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi ,UAE who spoke on role of Artificial Intelligence (A.I) in the modern day world and how A.I has standardized the Imagination of Scientist and the science fiction and how things of fiction from the past are becoming a reality today. Prof. Anupam Basu from NIT Durgapur apprised everyone about doing research in a correct way. He also talked on cross domain problems and solutions.

The next person to interact with the audience was Prof. Costin Badica from University of Craiova, Romania. He spoke about the synergies between intelligent computing & distributed computing.


The inaugural ceremony was followed by paper presentations in two separate Sessions on google meet links. The Session chair’s evaluated the performance of authors in Four technical sessions. The conference was ended with vote of thanks given by Dr. Latika Kharb & Dr.Deepak Chahal, Convener ICICCT-2020.


The conference proved to be a platform for delegates from different areas to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. We hope that this event will further stimulate research in major areas of Information, communication and computing technology in order to provide practitioners with better techniques, algorithms, and tools for deployment.
