Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Sector 5, Rohini organized a pre placement activity on Thursday, 25 July 2019 in its premises on the topic “Resume writing, Power dressing and Body language”.
The event was planned and organised by Ms. Geeta Sharma and Ms. Silky Madan to apprise the students about resume writing, power dressing and body language.
A large number of students from third year attended the workshop to understand how to be formally dressed and about important aspects non-verbal communication. The purpose was to prepare the final year students for placements. Recent years’ job offerings were also discussed along with organizations’ profile, their criteria and their selection process. The students were also made aware of the placement rules.
The session was conducted by Mr. Sumit Anand who is Manager, Corporate Relations at JIMS, Rohini. He started the dialog with his insightful words on mental fortitude, certainty, and reasonability and exhibited a detailed presentation. He also gave insights about how to write an impressive resume.
The session concluded with an inquiry and answer session to dispel any confusion. By and large it was a productive session and helped the students in preparing themselves for their future placements.
