IPL bidding - the simulation event was organised by Investofin-Finance Club on 19th November, 2019. The main prime objective for conducting this event was to improve the budgeting and decision-making skills of the students and to assess their general knowledge and awareness in different spheres. In total, 28 teams participated in the event. Each team had 3 members. Initially screening was done by conducting MCQs. A virtual budget of 10 crore was allocated to each team where they were to make choices for players while paying through exchange rates for foreign players. Idea was to ensure that any team earning maximum credits with minimum budget shall win. A large number of students participated across all the three verticals of junior wing and won cash prizes for first three positions worth Rs.2000, Rs. 1600 and Rs.1200. The prizes were given by Dr. N P Singh under whose supervision the whole event took place. The event was concluded, successful with a huge participation of enthusiastic students and support of the Dean, Dr Pratima Daipuria and club members in organising this great event.
