It is almost that time of the year, when the final year students need to start their last minute preparation for placements. JIMS Rohini, Sec-5, organised a guest lecture on the topic “ Tips for GD and Interview”. The session was conducted by Dr. Neelam Dhall who is an expert in the field of organizational behaviour and human resource management. She enlightened the students by giving an explicit knowledge about the process followed during the placement, which which includes written test, followed by group discussion and personal interview. She gave students a deeper understanding about all these rounds and what is expected by them during the same. After this session, students got a clear picture of formal dressing, body language and how to converse during the group discussion and personal interview. The event was further concluded by Q&A session, where she, cleared all the queries by the students. This helped them in boosting up their confidence. The session certainly helped in motivating the students and in bridging the gap between a college student and a potential professional.
