JIMS Rohini organised a store visit to More Mega Store - Moments Mall, Kirti Nagar for PGDM - Retail Management students (batch 2018-20) on 7th March 2019. Students got the opportunity to interact with HR Manager and Assistant Store Manager where they briefed them about the various functional areas and departments of the store. Students also got an opportunity to understand learn front end selling through direct observation method. Also, they saw entire process of back-end operations of More Mega store. The students also learnt the importance of experienced base shopping which the store is going to drive from its new layout. The staff of the store also explained the concept of “Wednesday” and brought to the knowledge of students that how they give offers on Wednesday to increase customers and to improve their sales in mid-week. Also there was a clothes section named “Apparels” earlier which is now changed to “Fashion” section. Overall, the visit was really a wonderful platform for students to learn with lot of corporate interaction.
