ALUMNI CONNECT is a significant platform which gives students the opportunity to listen from their seniors about their journey and experiences from college to the corporate world.
Department of Information Technology, JIMS Rohini effectively organized one more session of Alumni Interaction Series on 4th February, 2019 from 12:00 to 02:00 pm for BCA- II year [I & II shift] students.
Mr. Amit Singh Pundeer and Mr. Deepanshu Singh were welcomed as the mentors for this session. Mr. Amit Singh Pundeer is currently working as Junior Associate Software Developer in Nagarro. Mr. Deepanshu Singh is currently working as the Technical Associate at NTT Data Services.
The session was very interactive, students asked questions about: current technologies, job stability, various profiles in development, future scope for BCA, how to handle interview queries, corporate requirements and company’s trends towards new technologies. There was discussion about mentors own journey from College to corporate world and the difficulties faced by them during this journey. Students attentively participated in this discussion and queries continued in this session as well.
Altogether it was a very informative session for students where students participated with lot of enthusiasm. They gained knowledge regarding corporate world and current industry trends.
