JIMS Rohini organized a guest session on “Entrepreneurial Challenges" for students of PGDM-Retail Management by Mr. Jimmy Gupta, alumnus PGDM - RM (batch 2013-15) on November 13, 2018. Mr. Jimmy Gupta started his own venture named ‘Stationery Bazaar’ in the year 2016 and has successfully completed 2 years with clients from various govt. offices and corporate houses. Being a young entrepreneur he shared his experiences with the students. He discussed various challenges that he has faced throughout his journey being an entrepreneur and how he has overcome the same. He focused on various challenges which an entrepreneur faces in initial phase such as raising capital, right talent acquisition, promotion with restricted funds, financial security, stress management etc. He discussed about economic and government policies in the country as these policies have huge impact on almost all kind of businesses. He shared his experiences of how he dealt with GST and demonetization and made students realise that time management plays key role in business. He concluded the session by the motivational quote by Steve Jobs. All the students well appreciated the session.
