The NSS Cell, JIMS Rohini, organized a community outreach visit to the refugee camp on 6th October 2026, with the participation of 14 students from BBA and BA Economics Honors. The visit aimed to interact with children, understand their educational experiences, and promote empathy and social responsibility among NSS volunteers.
The programme included interactive sessions, discussions on career aspirations, songs, poems, and dance. Stationery kits containing notebooks, diaries, crayons, sketch pens, and glitter pens were distributed to the children.
The visit provided a meaningful opportunity for students to understand the importance of inclusive education, community service, and equal opportunities. The children's enthusiasm, creativity, and gratitude made the experience memorable. The visit reinforced the values of empathy, gratitude, and social responsibility among NSS volunteers, reflecting the NSS motto, “Not Me But You.”
