Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini organised an engaging session, "Personality Plus: Building Confidence for Career Success," on 21st September 2026 for BCA and BBA II Year students. The session was held for two shifts and drew 150 students, 78 from BCA and 72 from BBA.
The session was led by Ms. Rupakshi Gaur, Assistant Professor. She took students through self-awareness, emotional intelligence and self-discovery, and helped them recognise their strengths and areas for improvement. She also shared practical ways to build self-confidence, overcome self-doubt and prepare for future professional challenges. Students joined in actively, reflected on their personal and career goals, and took part in open discussions.
Pre- and post-session surveys showed clear results. Students' overall self-awareness score rose by 12.7%. The share of students confident in identifying their strengths and weaknesses grew from 51% to nearly 90%. In addition, 84% of participants rated the session Very Useful or Extremely Useful.
