The NSS Cell, JIMS Rohini organised an NSS Day Awareness Session on 24th September 2026 for JIMS students and NSS volunteers. The session, conducted by Dr. Ankur Tayal, Program Officer, NSS Cell, JIMS, focused on Swachhata, Environmental Protection, Health, Hygiene and Civic Responsibility.
The session highlighted the NSS philosophy and its motto “Not Me But You”, while encouraging students to understand their responsibilities as young citizens. Key discussions covered cleanliness, environmental conservation, health and hygiene, responsible citizenship, community service and volunteerism.
Students were also introduced to various NSS initiatives undertaken by JIMS Rohini, including plantation and cleanliness drives, health and blood donation camps, hygiene awareness programmes, voting awareness, social-service activities and community outreach initiatives.
The session emphasized that social responsibility begins with individual action and encouraged students and volunteers to transform awareness into meaningful and consistent action for a cleaner, healthier, greener and more responsible society.
