AI and Robotics Awareness Session at CRPF ATL Lab


On 18th July 2025, CRPF School, Rohini hosted a highly engaging and informative session titled “Future Minds: Exploring AI and Robotics for Tomorrow Innovators”. The event was organized by the Institute of Innovation Council (IIC) at the CRPF ATL Lab and was specially designed for students of Classes 9, 10, and 11. The workshop was led by two dynamic and knowledgeable speakers, Ms. Bhavna Galhotra and Dr. Priyanka Gandhi, both of whom brought deep insight and passion to the world of innovation and education.

AI robotics workshop

The main objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the growing fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics, and to spark their interest in how these technologies are shaping the future. Through interactive activities, practical demonstrations, and real-life examples, the session aimed to encourage young minds to think creatively, work collaboratively, and begin their journey as future innovators and problem-solvers.

During the session, the speakers explained the meaning of Artificial Intelligence and robotics in simple and relatable terms. They shared how AI enables machines to learn from experience and perform tasks that usually require human intelligence, such as decision-making and language understanding. They also discussed what robots are, how they function, and the role they play in industries, homes, and healthcare. In addition, students learned about the advantages of AI and robotics—like efficiency, accuracy, and automation—as well as the challenges and limitations, such as job displacement, ethical concerns, and the lack of human emotions in machines. These balanced insights helped students develop a thoughtful understanding of technology’s impact on society.

The learning outcomes of the workshop were meaningful and multi-dimensional. First, students were able to develop a conceptual understanding of how AI and robotics work. Through visual aids, stories, and demonstrations, they grasped the logic behind machine learning, sensors, automation, and algorithms. They also learned how AI is already being used in daily life, from Google searches and voice assistants to self-driving cars and medical diagnostics.
