The Institution’s InnovationCouncil (IIC) of JIMS, Sector-5, Rohini, organized an insightful online sessionon “Achieving Problem–Solution Fit” on 14th November 2025. The event wasconducted under the guidance of President Dr. Deepti Khanna and convened by Dr.Shivani Vats. The session began at 12:00 noon via Google Meet and witnessedactive participation from students across BBA, BA (Economics), BCA, and MCAprograms.
The keynote speaker, Mr. ManojKumar Singh, Head – Growth & Strategy, India & South Asia at GEHealthCare, Bengaluru, shared practical perspectives on how innovators canclearly define real-world problems and aligntheir solutions with user needs.He highlighted the importance of problem validation, user research, and structuredthinking while designing impactful solutions. His industry experience andexamples offered valuable guidance to students on avoiding common innovationpitfalls and improving the effectiveness of their ideas.
The session encouraged students tothink critically, ask meaningful questions, and refine their approach towardinnovation. The interactive discussion made the event highly engaging, enablingparticipants to gain a deeper understanding of how problem–solutionfit forms the foundation of successfulinnovation. The session concluded with key takeaways that will help studentsapproach their future projects with clarity and purpose.
