An informative and engaging session on “Cyber Security and Digital Ethics” was successfully conducted on 11th May 2026 at Himalaya Public School, Rohini under the Atal Saarthi Initiative. The event was organized under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission, with the objective of spreading awareness regarding cyber safety, responsible digital behavior, and ethical use of technology among students.
The session was conducted by the esteemed speakers, Dr. Geeta Sharma, Associate Professor, JIMS and Dr. Priyanka Gandhi, Associate Professor, JIMS, who shared valuable insights on the growing importance of cybersecurity and digital ethics in today’s technology-driven world. The speakers highlighted the increasing dependence on digital platforms and the need for individuals to protect their personal information from cyber threats such as phishing, hacking, identity theft, and online fraud.
During the session, students were introduced to the fundamentals of cybersecurity, including safe internet practices, password protection, social media awareness, cyberbullying prevention, and data privacy. The speakers also emphasized the concept of digital ethics by discussing responsible online conduct, ethical use of digital resources, respect for privacy, and the importance of maintaining integrity in the digital space.
