A session on Financial Literacy and NISM Certification was conducted on 18th March 2026 for BBA second and third-year students, with a total participation of 99 students. Organized in collaboration with SEPIRI, an empanelled organization under SEBI, the session aimed to enhance students’ financial awareness and introduce them to professional certifications offered by the National Institute of Securities Markets. The session was led by Mr. Amit Sharma, an experienced professional in finance and law.
The session covered fundamental concepts such as budgeting, saving, and investing, along with an overview of key investment avenues including equities, mutual funds, and bonds. A significant focus was placed on NISM certifications, highlighting their structure, eligibility, and career prospects in the financial services sector. Interactive discussions, real-life examples, and Q&A rounds contributed to an engaging learning experience.
Post-session analysis indicated a noticeable improvement in students’ understanding of financial concepts, awareness of certification opportunities, and confidence in investment-related decision-making. Student feedback reflected high satisfaction, with many expressing interest in pursuing NISM certifications and attending advanced sessions.
