The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, successfully celebrated National Science Day on 27th February 2026 with the objective of promoting scientific temper, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students.
The celebration was centered around the theme “Science & Innovation for Solving Real-World Problems.” Students presented creative and research-oriented ideas addressing pressing environmental and societal challenges such as Air Pollution (AQI), Waste & Garbage Management, Water Pollution & Sustainable Management, Land & Plastic Pollution, and Global Solutions in the Indian context.
A total of 11 teams enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing innovative concepts and practical solutions. The event witnessed active engagement, critical thinking, and a strong commitment toward sustainability and nation-building.
The presentations were evaluated by Dr. Navneet Joshi and Ms. Megha Sharma, who appreciated the originality, relevance, and feasibility of the ideas shared by the participants.

The celebration was successfully coordinated under the guidance of the IIC Innovation Coordinator and the dedicated efforts of the IIC Student Coordinators, ensuring smooth execution of the program.
National Science Day 2026 served as a platform to inspire young minds to think creatively, act responsibly, and contribute meaningfully to a sustainable and innovative future.
