The JIMS GCC Club organized a Mock Parliament session on “The Shared Caregiving & Parental Responsibility Bill” on 1st April 2026 at Room No. C202, JIMS, Sector-5, Rohini.

The event saw participation from 60+ students, with 15 students actively taking on the roles of parliamentarians. These participants led the session through structured debates, presenting arguments, counterarguments, and policy perspectives on shared caregiving and parental responsibility.

The discussion moved beyond surface-level opinions, with participants questioning traditional norms and examining the practical challenges of implementing shared parental responsibilities. The remaining attendees contributed as an engaged audience, adding to the overall energy and seriousness of the session.

Advocate Gaurav Singh was present as the judge, observing the proceedings and providing brief feedback.
