Representing JIMS, Team Sphinx, led by Avighyat Shrivastav and comprising Shaurya Sharma, Dhruv Malhotra, and Vansh Aggarwal, emerged as the overall winners, outperforming numerous competing teams through their innovative approach, technical excellence, and effective problem-solving capabilities.

The team developed “KaamSetu”, an AI-powered hyperlocal platform aimed at bridging the gap between India’s informal workforce and employment opportunities. Addressing the critical challenge faced by over 450 million informal workers, the solution was designed with inclusivity at its core, featuring a user-friendly interface for low- and zero-literacy users, Telegram-based onboarding, Hindi language support, and AI-driven job matching using multilingual semantic embeddings.

The project was highly appreciated by the jury for its social relevance, scalability, and practical implementation using modern technologies such as Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and advanced AI tools. The structured evaluation process, including multiple mentoring checkpoints and elimination rounds, further highlighted the team’s consistency, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure.
