Students of BBA 1st Year participated in an industrial visit to MyLogistics Gurukul at the Cargo Service Centre, IGI Airport, New Delhi on 17th March 2026. The visit was organized to provide students with hands-on exposure to logistics operations and to enhance their understanding of real-world industry practices.
The visit commenced with a Welcome & Orientation session where students were introduced to the organization, its role in the logistics ecosystem and the importance of safety protocols within a warehouse environment. Students were briefed about essential dos and don’ts to ensure safe and disciplined conduct during the visit.
This was followed by a Guided Warehouse Tour, during which students observed key logistics operations including inbound handling, storage systems and outbound distribution processes. The demonstration also highlighted the role of technology in modern logistics, such as automation systems, inventory management tools, and data-driven operations that improve efficiency and accuracy.
An Interactive Session was conducted with industry experts, where students actively engaged in discussions and asked questions related to logistics operations, career prospects and skill development in the industry. This session provided valuable insights into the evolving nature of the logistics sector and the increasing demand for skilled professionals.
The visit concluded with a Closing & Feedback session, where students shared their experiences and learning outcomes. Overall, the industrial visit provided a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, industry practices and career pathways in logistics, making it an informative and enriching experience for all participants.
