The NSS Cell of Jagan Institute of Management Studies successfully organized an outreach event titled “Jal Mahotsav: Gaon Ka Utsav – Desh Ka Mahotsav 2026” on 23rd March 2026 at the PMKVY Centre, Karmaarth Foundation, Mundka, Delhi.
The session aimed to promote awareness about water conservation and sustainable usage practices among students. The program included an informative presentation, engaging videos, interactive activities, and a thought-provoking nukkad natak, all designed to sensitize participants towards the growing issue of water scarcity.
Through participatory learning methods such as quizzes, games, and performances, students gained valuable insights into responsible water usage and practical conservation techniques. The street play effectively highlighted real-life challenges and encouraged community responsibility towards saving water.
The initiative witnessed active participation and was highly appreciated for its interactive approach. It successfully enhanced awareness, encouraged sustainable practices, and instilled a sense of environmental responsibility among students.
