Students and faculty members from the MCA Department of Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) visited the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from 16 February to 20 February 2026. The visit was organized to provide students with exposure to emerging Artificial Intelligence technologies and their real-world applications, in alignment with the objectives of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) 8.0 which promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry interaction.
The summit brought together leading global technology organizations such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, LinkedIn, OpenAI, and Meta along with various government ministries and innovation showcases from different states. The event highlighted how Artificial Intelligence is transforming sectors including healthcare, agriculture, governance, education, and media. Students had the opportunity to explore several AI-driven technologies, including generative AI platforms, AI-enabled robotics, intelligent automation systems, and data-driven decision-making models that are currently shaping modern digital ecosystems.
One of the key attractions of the summit was the demonstration of AI-powered robotic systems that integrated computer vision, predictive algorithms, and automated decision-making capabilities.
