Session on Team Collaboration and Leadership Activities at JIMS Rohini


As part of its ongoing pre-placement initiatives, the Department of IPU Affiliated Programs at Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, Sector 5, organized an engaging session on “Team Collaboration and Leadership Activities” on 28th January 2026. The event was conducted by Dr. Silky Madan and Dr. Shivani Wadhwa for first-year BBA students, with the objective of strengthening essential employability skills such as teamwork, communication, coordination, and leadership.

Recognizing that today’s recruiters value
candidates who can collaborate effectively and exhibit leadership potential, the session focused on experiential learning through interactive and practical team-building exercises. Students actively participated in group activities designed to enhance cooperation, improve interpersonal communication, and develop decision-making abilities.

The session enabled participants to understand the significance of teamwork in achieving organizational goals, demonstrate improved coordination and initiative-taking, manage differences constructively within teams, and gain confidence in handling group tasks and discussions. The event reflected JIMS’ continued commitment to holistic student development and industry readiness by fostering practical competencies essential for professional success.
