The event was designed as an experiential academic initiative aimed at sensitizing students toward contemporary workplace gender dynamics and inclusive leadership practices. With participation from over 110 students across BA (Eco), BBA, and BCA programs, the session reflected high academic engagement and relevance.

Dr. Sharma delivered an insightful and research-driven address focusing on:

  • Understanding unconscious bias and micro-aggressions
  • Shared responsibility of all genders in promoting equity
  • Implementation gaps in organizational gender policies
  • Ethical conduct and professional sensitivity
  • Role of youth in shaping inclusive workplace cultures

Through real-life corporate case studies and practical HR perspectives, she emphasized that policies alone are insufficient without empathy, awareness, and accountability.

The interactive Q&A segment allowed students to engage directly with the speaker, raising thoughtful questions on pay parity, leadership imbalance, career breaks, workplace safety mechanisms, and gender-neutral hiring frameworks. The session created a safe and respectful academic environment for open dialogue.

The event recorded high engagement levels and measurable improvement in awareness through pre- and post-session feedback analysis, making it one of the most impactful GCC initiatives of the academic year.
