The NSS Cell, JIMS Rohini successfully organised a Community Health Outreach / Health Camp on 3rd
February 2026 in collaboration with Edumedha and with medical support from CK Birla Hospital, Delhi.
The initiative aimed at promoting holistic health awareness, preventive healthcare, and early detection of
common health issues among outreach community members, students, faculty, and staff.
The programme featured an expert awareness session by Dr. Amit Prakash Singh, Consultant – Internal
Medicine, CK Birla Hospital, on holistic health, nutrition, hygiene, lifestyle management, and stress
control, followed by an interactive doctor–community discussion. A comprehensive health check-up
camp was conducted, offering multiple screenings and consultations including BP, blood sugar, BMI,
BMD, cholesterol, dental, eye, orthopaedic, and general health examinations.
Approximately 80 community beneficiaries from Edumedha Skill Centres, along with 75 members of the
JIMS fraternity, availed the services. The event was efficiently supported by NSS volunteers and student
coordinators, reinforcing the spirit of service, leadership, and social responsibility. The programme
strengthened institutional collaboration and contributed meaningfully towards community well-being.
