The National Service Scheme (NSS) organized a Health Check-up Camp and Health Awareness Session on 30th December 2025 in collaboration with MAX Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, at the college campus. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Rupakshi Gaur, Faculty In-charge, NSS, with active support from NSS student volunteers Siya and Astha (BCA).
The initiative was undertaken to promote preventive healthcare and address growing concerns related to lifestyle diseases and respiratory health among staff members. The camp included medical investigations such as blood pressure, random blood sugar, pulmonary function test, bone mineral density, and BMI assessment.
An expert health talk on “Respiratory Health” was delivered by Dr. Kamanashish Das, Associate Director – Pulmonology & Respiratory Medicine, MAX Hospital, highlighting the impact of air pollution on lung health, early warning signs of respiratory disorders, and preventive measures. Overall, the health camp enhanced health awareness, encouraged early diagnosis, and reinforced the importance of regular medical check-ups, while strengthening NSS’s commitment to promoting well-being and a healthy workplace culture.
