The NSS Cell of JIMS organized a Gurudwara Sewa on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti on 5th November 2025 at the local Gurudwara Sahib. The event aimed to promote the values of seva, equality, and compassion as taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. NSS volunteers actively participated in langar preparation and distribution, cleaning of the Gurudwara premises, and assisting devotees during the celebrations.
The activity helped students understand the importance of selfless service and teamwork while strengthening their connection with the local community. Volunteers experienced a sense of discipline, humility, and inner satisfaction through community service. Overall, the event was spiritually uplifting and socially enriching, encouraging students to continue engaging in similar service-oriented activities in the future.
