The Academic Club organized Quiz Competition on November 22, 2025. Total 12 Teams from all courses registered for the event and 10 teams reported on the day of event . In the first half of the event 08 teams from the IT domain participated in the quiz. There were Three rounds in the quiz.

The quiz rounds  are summarized as follows:

Round-01 : GENERAL ROUND

Questions were asked from the following  Topics:

• 1.1 Recent tech innovations
• 1.2 Founders & CEOs of tech giants
• 1.3 Software & hardware launches

1.4 IT current affairs and trends (AI, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.)

Format : Every team was asked two questions. They were given 30 seconds to answer each question. If answered correctly, they were awarded 15 marks for the correct answer. If they were unable to answer correctly, the question was passed to subsequent teams. Subsequent teams got 15 seconds and were awarded 5 marks for each correct answer..

Round-02  : BUZZER ROUND

Questions were asked from the following  themes:

• 2.1.Logo
• 2.2. Tagline
• 2.3. Product
• 2.4. Famous CEO & founders.

Format : There were 06 questions in this round. The team that pressed the buzzer first was given the chance to answer the question in 10 seconds. If they answered correctly, the team was awarded 10 marks, and for every incorrect answer, 05 marks were deducted.

Round-03  : AUDIO-VISUAL ROUND

Questions were asked from the following  topics:

• 1.Tech sound (Windows startup, notification tones).
• 2. Identify the product from an advertisement or launch video.
• 3. “Name the gadget” from image.

Format : Each team was asked one question and was given 20 seconds to answer it. If answered correctly, 15 marks were awarded. There was no negative marking for an incorrect response. This was a non-transferrable round.

After finishing the above rounds, Four best teams were shortlisted on the basis of total score in all three round.

In the second half of the quiz, total Eight teams participated (Four from IT domain and Four from Mgmt domain). There were total 03 rounds .

• 1.2 Recent mergers, acquisitions, and startups
• 1.3 Product launches  in the recent years.

Format : Every team was asked two questions. They were given 30 seconds to answer each question. If answered correctly, they were awarded 15 marks for the correct answer. If they were unable to answer correctly, the question was passed to subsequent teams. Subsequent teams got 15 seconds and were awarded 5 marks for each correct answer..

After finishing the above rounds , Two best teams were awarded with prize and certificates.

Name of the winners are as follows :

1^st Position : Kavyansh Mehta (BCA 3^rd Year, 1^st Shift) & Tanisha Juneja (BCA 1^st Year,1^st Shift)

2^nd Position : Arnav Mehta and Krish Batra from BCA 2^nd Year, 1^st Shift).

The event wrapped up with awarding the winners and acknowledging the participants as well a vote of thanks extended to the faculty and the team for their efforts..
