“Code the Stack: A Workshop on Full Stack Development with MERN” was organized as a comprehensive training initiative aimed at helping BCA students master both client-side and server-side web technologies. Conducted offline from 23rd June to 22nd July 2025, the workshop was led by Mr. Harmeet Singh Sehra, who provided a hands-on, project-based learning experience.

A total of 63 BCA students actively participated in the workshop, which began with a foundational overview of JavaScript and modern ES6+ features, followed by focused sessions on building user interfaces with React.js. Subsequent sessions introduced backend development with Node.js and Express.js, covering topics such as API creation, middleware, and integration with MongoDB. Special emphasis was placed on authentication, routing, and building RESTful services.

During the final phase, students formed teams to develop mini-projects that included blogging platforms, event management tools, and basic e-commerce solutions. Each group showcased their projects, demonstrating their understanding of the MERN stack and receiving constructive feedback from the instructor.

The event concluded with enthusiastic participation, with many students expressing increased confidence in web development and a keen interest in pursuing careers or freelance work in the tech sector.

Overall, the workshop was a tremendous success, cultivating technical expertise, creativity, and a collaborative spirit among all 63 participating BCA students.
