JIMS Rohini Oraganized Athletics trials


Objective

  • To identify and select talented kabaddi players for upcoming competitions.

On 23th September 2024, Warriors Sports Club at JIM organized athletics trials at inner circle Japanese Park to do fitness evaluation and to check test players’ strength, agility, and endurance, crucial attributes for athletics player.

A significant number of athletes registered for the trials through the shared registration link: https://forms.gle/t93BxzTkSzQBTTWh8. Participants included a mix of seasoned players and enthusiastic newcomers, reflecting the growing interest in sports. Athletes competed in their chosen events—such as 100m, 400m, long jump, shot put, etc.—allowing coaches to assess their techniques, speed, and overall performance.

The event began with a series of warm-up exercises. Participants were assessed on raiding, defending, and teamwork through specialized drills. They displayed a wide range of skills, from advanced techniques to untapped potential, indicating a promising future for sports. Athletics sports trials were a successful initiative, achieving their objectives of talent identification and community involvement. The event served as a testament to the growing popularity of sports and its ability to bring people together.
