JIMS Rohini Organized Brainstorming Marathon: The Next Evolution of Wearable Technology


Objective of the Event: To challenge participants to identify real-world problems and propose practical, feasible solutions through innovative wearables.

The Pitch and Ideation Competition was conducted under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on February 14, 2025, in B301 Lab with the aim of fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students. The competition began with a brainstorming session, where teams worked collaboratively to develop their concepts. After two hours of ideation, each

team presented their ideas in a five-minute pitch, followed by a three-minute Q&A session with the esteemed panel of judges. The evaluation was based on innovation, feasibility, relevance to the industry, impact, and presentation skills.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities while gaining insights into the practical applications of wearable technology in fields such as healthcare, defense, sports, education, and disaster management. Through this competition, participants also honed their presentation and communication skills, learning to articulate their ideas effectively in a structured and professional manner. The competition not only fostered teamwork and time management skills but also inspired students to think like future entrepreneurs and innovators.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners, recognizing the most innovative and impactful ideas. The Pitch and Ideation Competition was a resounding success, leaving participants motivated to continue exploring new technological advancements and shaping the future of wearable technology.
