Freshers is basically an event in which 1st year students where freshies are invited so that they can know each other and understand the surrounding environment. Fresher’s was scheduled on January 7, 2023 from 10 am to 5pm. Fresher’s 2022 was a cheerful event where students got the opportunity to know not their batch mates but the seniors in the friendly manner. In Fresher’s, freshies show cased their talent to win the varied titles like Mr. & Ms. Fresher, Ms. Diva and Mr. Handsome and many more. The anchors started the show with a bang and pulled the crowd towards the stage. The judges Dr. Parminder Bajaj and Dr. Jyotsna evaluated the students starting from the Ramp Walk followed by Talent Hunt. Here the students were shortlisted for the question and answer round was conducted.
7 pair of titles were given to the best performers. In talent hunt students entertained everybody with their poetry, dancing, singing, standup, drawing/sketching/art, photography and many more. More performances i.e., Fillers were also included in which 2nd and 3rd year student participated with their talent like acts, dance and singing. At last, the event was geared up with DJ filling high energies and immense pleasure among all, with the stamps of amazing memories and fun. The Event ended with everyone enjoying delicious food. It was indeed a great experience to watch such creative and talented students.
The event was entertaining as well as full of colors and festivity.
Learning Outcomes This activity helped the students to showcase their talents and let them engage with the new surroundings through the event organized for them. It highlighted the importance of unity, oneness and bonding as everyone celebrates together and also the need to light up life with good memories.
