The Finance Club of JIMS, ‘INVESTOFIN’’ organized an online session for awareness on second activity- ‘StockMind: A virtual trading competition’ being conducted in collaboration with ICICI Securities Ltd. for the PGDM (batch 2022-24) on 14th Nov 2022 under the guidance of Dr. Deepika Saxena and Dr. Monika Agarwal. The Guest speaker for the session was Mr. Rajinder Arora. The session was organized to make participants aware about the trading in stock market along with the rules of upcoming competition “StockMind: A virtual trading competition”. The session received a huge response from students.
Mr. Rajinder Arora shared insightful information on trading in stock market. He deliberated about PE ratios, trading charts, moving average indicators, relationship between share capital and profitability and many other trading concepts. He shared with students how to choose their investments wisely to maximise the returns. Overall, it was a very healthy discussion and later students also raised their doubts and interacted with the panellist. The session was very informative about trading mechanism of stocks in stock markets.
