A visit was scheduled by JIMS,Rohini for the students of PGDM-International Business to Gift World Expo at Pragati Maidan under the guidance of Dr. Yukti Ahuja with an objective to give practical exposure to the student about the marketing world.
Gifts World Expo 2022 was instrumental in boosting the prospects for small companies by bringing them face to face with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Jitender Singh Shunty former Member of Delhi Legislative Assembly was the Guest of Honour at the event and he extended his support to Gifts World Expo for bringing to the fore small players in the gifting industry.
Students of PGDM-IB were given different segments to do a research with specific objectives for their assignment. The segments were cosmetics, art and craft, clothing, stationary etc. Students got to know the practicality of their respective segment and got to know different marketing strategies adopted during the promotion.
Overall it was an experiential learning for the students with a lot of practical exposure.
