JIMS organised a guest session on ‘Financial Markets and NSE’ on 24th February 2022 for PGDM Batch 2021-23 (Section A, B and C) in the online mode. The session was taken by Mr. Kunal Tyagi (Manager, NSE). The objective of the session was to enlighten students about the execution of trading mechanism in financial markets.
Mr. Kunal Tyagi shared insightful information on financial markets to enlighten students about types of financial markets, financial instruments, stock exchanges. He also explained students about the pre 1990 trends and current scenario of the trading system and contrasted between traditional vs modern exchange system. He further acquainted students with the trading mechanism on NSE. He also explained asset classification and discussed various career prospects for the students in the stream of finance.
Overall, it was a very healthy discussion and later students also raised their doubts and interacted with the panellist. The session was very informative about the National stock exchange and trading mechanism of stocks on national stock exchange. |
