Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini Sector-5, conducted a 3-day long MDP for the executives of Punjab & Sind Bank from 20th – 22nd December, 2021 at institute’s campus on the theme of Attitude decides Altitude: Change Begins from Within.
Dr. Neelam Dhall (PROFESSOR & DEAN RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT), Dr. Heena Bhardwaj and Dr. Sonia Dhir conducted the knowledgeable sessions on the first day of the MDP. The ice-breaking session was led by Dr. Neelam Dhall as she warmly welcomed the participants and did a few activities to understand their expectations from the session. In the later part of the day, Dr. Heena Bhardwaj held an insightful session on ‘Work Values’ and Dr. Sonia Dhir showcased a movie for the candidates to explain them the concept of ‘Goal Setting’ in personal and professional life.
On the second day of the MDP, sessions on Personal Goal Setting, Work Motivation, and Change Management were organised for the attendees. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Sonia Dhir, Prof. S.C. Kapoor, and Dr. Pratima Daipuria respectively. These sessions bolstered self-confidence and instilled a feeling of setting measureable goals in life among the participants.
On the final day of the MDP, Dr. Pratima Daipuria (Professor & Dean PGDM Program, JIMS) gave an incredible presentation on Change Management, followed by an interactive session on ‘Right Communication at Work’ which was held by Mr. Suneel Keswani (Corporate Trainer & Visiting faculty). The final session was conducted by Mr. Rajinder Arora on the topic ‘Happiness for Oneself’ wherein candidates took keen interest towards the talk delivered by the expert.
Summing up, at the end of the workshop, participants were assessed on the skills for which they received training and workshop. All the attendees at the MDP were honoured with certificate of participation.
Punjab & Sind Bank employees showed enthusiastic involvement in the MDP being organised by the team of highly-experienced academicians at JIMS Rohini. It was a wonderful opportunity to develop nexus with the industry professionals as the journey proves to be mutually rewarding for everyone involved in the event.
