Alumni Session on The coordination of E Commerce and Logistics during Pandemic was organised for PGDM IB students on 1st September, 2021.
Its always an additional piece of cake to get an experience sharing session from an Alumni. PGDM-IB deptt organised Alumni Session by Mr Siddharth Sharma from batch (2015-17) who is currently associated with Amazon as Key Account Manager.
Mr Siddharth initiated the discussion by introducing himself and his transformation from a student to a professional. He joined Fedex into logistics deptt and moved to Amazon in the same field. He explained a big difference which occurred during this pandemic all over the world and the impact of it on sectors. Being a student of International Business he defined supply chain management followed by restrictions that this industry suffered due to Lockdown in 2020. Though, it was not affected in terms of revenue but easy reach .The session also explained the Booming Industries during Covid-19 like Telecom, Healthcare and E-Commerce Marketplaces.
The session was completely oriented towards the Supply Chain Industry and E-Commerce, well defined by Mr Siddharth. Students clarified their doubts regarding placements and how they should prepare themselves. He successfully connected himself to the students during this session.
