Industrial Visit – Moser Baer on 20th November 2014

Students of PGDM – IB went for an industrial visit to Moser Baer manufacturing plant in Greater Noida on 20th November 2014. Moser Baer India Limited is a leading global tech-manufacturing company. Established in 1983, the company is one of the world's largest manufacturers of Optical Storage media like CDs and DVDs.
During the visit, students were briefed about the history of plant via PPT. The presentation was further followed by the evolution of Photovoltaic and Home entertainment businesses, their journey so far to emerge out as a global technology. Various corporate videos were also shown to students. Further to this they were taken to the Manufacturing plant "JEWEL BOX" wherein our students saw the live manufacturing of CD Boxes.
Overall, it was a very good learning experience and the students were enlightened with the knowledge of both the technical and management skills.
