JIMS organized an event for BBA second and third year students on 26th February, 2021 which was conducted by Mr. Sajan Mathews - Business Development Manager at Al Seer (Dubai). He is JIMS alumnus Batch and a competent professional having more than 14 years of experience in Sales and has been working in Gulf Region for last 5 years. He is an effective communicator with excellent team building, problem solving, leadership & interpersonal skills.
The session was focused on preparing the students to work in corporate as future managers. He discussed about the challenges, opportunities and risks with respect to industry 4.0 and also highlighted the importance of some critical skills that the students should focus on today so that they are well equipped for the future. He emphasized on the importance of skills like creative thinking, people management, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, judgment and decision making for surviving in the present scenario. The students were encouraged to come up with their doubts and also made them understand what corporate expect from them. Overall it was a very informative and a thought provoking session for the students.
