JIMS, Sector-5 Rohini celebrated 73rd Independence Day in college premises with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event started with flag hoisting by Dr. J K Goyal, Dr. Pooja Jain and HOD’s from all departments. Followed by the flag hoisting there was a special performance by the Asmita theatre group, where the students focused on the problem areas like the blood donations and the women empowerment. Also, there was Nukkad Natak by BBA students on the various issues related to Old people and Girl-child Education. Students of all the departments like MCA, BBA, BCA, and PGDM participated and enjoyed singing and dancing on patriotic songs.
Moreover, students shared their Azadi views by writing on the Azadi wall and also had selfie sessions with the tri-colored photo booth. The event summed up with the kite flying and some poetry written by the students.
