The first meeting of the newly constituted Alumni Association (JIMS Elite) Executive Council of JIMS was held on 21st September 2019 at JIMS Sector-5, Rohini campus. It was attended by Mr. Puneet Sethi- President, Mr Rohit Gupta- Vice President, Mr. Chetan Dixit- Treasurer and Executive Members mainly, Mr. Akhilesh Lekha, Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Mr. Varun Gupta, Ms. Vedika Agarwal, Mr Sambhav Jain and Mr. Prateek Gupta. Mr. Manish Gupta, Chairman JIMS, Dr. Pooja Jain, Director JIMS, and Mr. Ankur Goyal, Past President also participated in the meeting apart from others. Members were briefed about the activities of the association held earlier and about the purpose of Executive Council as well as expectations and role of the institute in the association activities. A demonstration of Alma Connect a new alumni portal was also done for the members who provided their valuable inputs. Members deliberated and shared their views on how to strengthen the alumni network and activities that can be planned within and outside the campus in next one year. It was decided to have a full day seminar on 23rd Nov. 2019 on topic related to Digitalization at the PHD House, New Delhi. The final theme and sub themes for the same along with few other activities related to CSR, Sports, Annual Dinner, etc. shall be decided in the next meeting to be held on 12th Oct. 2019.
