The panel discussion on the topic “Cybersecurity in the AI Era: Can We Ever Be Fully Safe Online?” was successfully organized on 7th April 2026 at 11:00 AM in Room B302. The event was conducted with the objective of providing BCA students a platform to enhance their communication skills and to raise awareness about cybersecurity in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
As a preliminary step, auditions were held on 27th February 2026, in which approximately 20 students participated. These auditions helped in selecting participants for the panel discussion and role play.
The event commenced with an engaging role play based on cyber fraud awareness. The performance was both informative and impactful, highlighting real-life scenarios and preventive measures. It was highly appreciated by the judges as well as the audience.
Following the role play, the panel discussion was conducted, where participants shared their perspectives on cybersecurity challenges in the era of artificial intelligence. The discussion was insightful and encouraged critical thinking among the audience.
To further enhance engagement, a quiz session was also conducted, allowing participants and the audience to test their knowledge in an interactive manner.
The event concluded with the distribution of trophies to the Best Speaker, Coordinators, Panellists, and Role Play participants, recognizing their efforts and contributions.
Overall, the event was a great success. It not only fostered communication and presentation skills among students but also promoted awareness regarding cybersecurity and safe online practices.
