PGDM department has organised Brand Leela Event


Ask any marketer and they will agree that marketing has the power to shape up and make a deep impact on our society and culture. Corporations equipped with marketers and their creative and ingenious strategies have managed to achieve such greatness which couldn’t have been imagined by anyone before they happened. Such strategies are studied by budding marketers as reference and are considered as legends in the sphere of marketing.

With the objective of exploring more tales from the marketing sphere Marquest, the marketing club and Creador, the retail club of JIMS, conducted the Brand Leela event. Since nowadays, podcasts are increasingly used by various institutions to engage the students and improve the teaching and learning practice, it was decided that this event would focus on the same. Students were tasked with exploring and talking about various companies and their marketing in the recorded audio format.  Each participant was supposed to contribute a podcast individually. The secondary aim of the event was to test the students on their storytelling abilities, which they showcased with full enthusiasm.

The event took place in an online format as the participants were instructed to make their audio submissions between 9th-12th of September 2022. 

 Mr.Hrishi Kumar, co- founder, “Vegrex”, a successful marketing solutions business,  was requested to judge the event. 

The results were announced on 21st October 2022.  Parth Billawria(Batch PGDM Section C) coming at the first place and Priyesh Pal(Batch PGDM Section B) at the second place. The cash prizes were given to the winners. 

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Bhavneet Kaur, convenor, Marquest and Dr. Amisha Gupta, convenor, Creador, with the help of the student members of both the clubs. 

Event turned out to be a great success, owing to the participation of enthusiastic students, supervision and support of teachers and the unfathomable efforts of the club members.
