JIMS, Rohini organised an alumni session on 26th November’2021 for PGDM-Retail Management students batch 2021-23 on “Chase your Vision”. The resource person was Mr. Shivam Bhatnagar, INFOGAIN PVT LTD and JIMS alumnus PGDM-RM batch 2017-19.
Mr. Shivam discussed with the students various tactics to envision and follow their dreams. He emphasized that penning down a goal and working on it through a well planned strategy helps one gain and develop several skills and characteristics that apply in day to day life which will eventually help the individual reach his/her final ambition. After making a plan, one should keep in mind the reasons why the goal is important to the individual. This helps in keeping up the motivation level and avoids one to give up when the path gets tough.
He further explained how keeping in mind the facts and useful information regarding one's goal is important to keep up with changes and make a tangible, well achievable goal in life.
All these key steps will help individuals reach the goal in their life and help them live their dream life instead of waiting for it.
At the end, Q&A round was conducted where students and Mr. Shivam had a candid conversation about college life. He advised students to maintain a work life balance. He ended the session with a quote “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
It was a very useful and refreshing session for students.
