PGDM department organized an online Pre- Orientation session for the PGDM Batch (2021-2023) students on 16th July, 2021 on “Time management- The skill every company looks for” by Mr Ishan Dhara, Lead Customer Centricity at Birla White and JIMS alumni of PGDM Batch (2010-12) to make students understand the concept of Time management and its importance in corporate sector.
It was a very harmonious session where the resource person interacted with all the students and used his personal experiences as an example in order to make students understand how important time management is not only in professional, but in personal life too. He started with explaining the truth about time management and from there on, he busted the myths about incapableness of an individual to manage his/her time. He told all the students about the ‘168 hours in a week’ plan and also created the ‘Important-Urgency’ grid which helped students in clearing all their doubts and queries related to poor time management. The speaker also provided the students with steps to manage their time and gave us the tips on how to overcome procrastination. The students understood the value of staying on top of the things and participated actively in the session.
