Dr. Praveen Kumar Gupta

Dr Praveen Kumar Gupta's affiliation is with Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University, New Delhi, India (a public funded state government university). He is currently working with Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini, Delhi as Professor , Information Technology Department. His current research interests are data Science (AI, ML, DM techniques/algorithms), Databases, IoT, Intellectual Property.
JIMS has 6 patents as applicant, in its name. He is one of the inventor/co-inventor in them.

He holds  Bachelors in Engineering. Masters in Technology (Computer Science)  and  Ph. D. (Computer Science and Engineering) from University Institute of Engineering and Technology, M. D. University, Rohtak, India, on Databases. He qualified University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) in 2016, a national level examination to ensure academic quality standards in Higher Education Institutions (HEI).

He is an Examiner for doctoral students. As supervisor, about 100 postgraduate/masters students have been guided w.r.t. their major project (6 months duration), and numerous undergraduate (engineering) students mentored and guided, in last 20 years.

He has been invited as key speaker/resource person at various technical events. He has been session chair at conferences/seminars. He is member of technical program committee in international conferences. 
He is Fellow, IETE, New Delhi, India. He is member, Technical advisory committee of TERI, India. 
 
He has published papers  in various international/national journals. He has presented papers  in various international/national conferences. He has  published book titled "VLSI Design". Another book is in press.

Dr Gupta is actively involved in web development, app development, and market research.
He also believes in sensitizing the youth to make them more responsible towards the society in general and environment in particular. He is actively working with Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Combating Climate Change (MGICCC, a public funded state government institution in India), for the global cause.
