Dr. Deepika Saxena

- Management

Specialisation: Accounting and Finance
Dr. Deepika Saxena is the Associate Professor in Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, Delhi. She is B. Com, BCA, MBA, NET Qualified, and Ph.D with more than 17 years of experience in academia and industry, including 15 years in teaching and research.  Her area of teaching are accounting and finance. She is keen researcher in the area of financial inclusion, financial literacy, micro-finance and micro-credit, digital payments, technology in banking, blockchain, sustainable banking etc. She has presented and published several research papers in various conferences and journals of national and international repute. She has received ‘Best Paper Award’ from IIM-Bangalore for her research paper titled: ‘Technology based Initiatives by Indian Commercial Banks towards Financial Inclusion’. She has been conducting Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and training sessions for the bank officials in the areas of Digital Payments, Financial inclusion, Alternate Delivery Channels and Micro Finance; and for the employees of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCI) in diverse areas of management.  She is a passionate, self-motivated and hardworking person who loves to take challenges. She has been a teacher, mentor and guide to the post graduate students and research scholars at JIMS.
